What You'll Do
- Perform mobile XRay procedures using digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment at various healthcare facilities
- Obtain diagnostically quality XRay images and submit/transmit for interpretation
- Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit results to cardiologists
- Maintain and appropriately operate portable XRay equipment
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff, dispatch, and management
- Accurately document and scan exam and billing paperwork daily
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in proper working order
- Communicate professionally with patients, colleagues, and supervisors
What You Need
- Required:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- Valid Maryland state license or willingness to obtain
- Experience with portable digital or computed radiography
- Ability to perform and transmit EKGs (if needed)
- Physical ability to handle equipment weighing 50+ pounds, with accommodations
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in mobile imaging, nursing homes, or healthcare facilities
- Ability to work independently in varied environments
