Boston Fish Market in Wheeling is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and energetic Hostess to join our fast-paced, high-end dining team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the stage for an exceptional seafood dining experience through warm greetings, high energy, and efficient organization.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Seating & Floor Planning: Greet, seat, and manage guest flow in a high-volume, upscale dining room while maintaining an organized seating plan.
Phone & Reservation Management: Answer incoming phone calls promptly, manage guest reservations, and answer questions regarding menu offerings and restaurant policies.
To-Go Order Processing: Accurately take, record, and package phone orders for takeout guests.
Retail Market Support: Occasionally assist in the attached retail seafood market by checking out customers and processing sales at the register.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bubbly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone demeanor.
Basic math and Point-of-Sale (POS) skills for retail checkout and to-go order processing.
Previous hosting or restaurant customer service experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
