Business Development & Marketing Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to help drive growth for an established construction organization. This position combines relationship-driven business development with hands-on marketing and proposal responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience within construction, engineering, architecture, or the broader AEC industry and be comfortable developing new business while managing key marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business and project opportunities
• Build relationships with prospective clients, industry partners, owners, and other key contacts
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships
• Attend networking events, industry meetings, and other business development activities
• Partner with leadership and project teams on growth strategies and upcoming opportunities
• Manage RFPs, proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations
• Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop project and proposal content
• Create marketing and proposal materials using Adobe InDesign
• Manage social media content and scheduling
• Support website updates, marketing campaigns, project photography, and company branding

Qualifications

• Marketing and/or business development experience within construction, engineering, architecture, or AEC
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Experience supporting business development, client outreach, or lead generation
• Understanding of RFPs, proposals, and the AEC pursuit process
• Strong Adobe InDesign skills
• Experience with social media and digital marketing
• WordPress and PowerPoint experience preferred
• Comfortable interacting with clients, owners, executives, PMs, and Superintendents
• Ability to represent the company professionally at meetings, events, and construction sites
