St. Mary's General Hospital is a 293 bed, acute care hospital that offers a broad range of cardiovascular services as well as cancer care, maternal-child health, and outpatient behavioral health services. Cardiac cases with a mix of general. No peds, no trauma. Shifts M-F with low utilization of call requirement. Leadership Dr. Harish Nandigam, Chief Anesthesiologist. MD only model with Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Responsibilities include assisting in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department, responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures, pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements include M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX, completion of approved residency in anesthesia, completion of approved Cardiac Fellowship, and currently licensed as a physician.
