We invite you to be a part of our family of dedicated senior care professionals.The Nurse Manager is a qualified, experienced and a multi-task-capable Licensed Nurse covering 2nd and 3rd shift as coordinator for skilled and assisted living and IL Clinic. Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing practices is preferred. Understanding of regulations governing long term care.Professional license or certification requirements :Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse unencumbered in the state of North Carolina.C.P.R. certificationSpecific skills, knowledge and abilities required :Must possess a valid and current RN or LPN license in the state in which the community is located.Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and proceduresPossess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and coordinate professional and non-professional personnel.Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc. of the nursing service department.Maintaining the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.; maintaining the appearances of nursing areas; and regular inspection of nursing units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.Ability to lead and mentor a team.
