We’re currently seeking a Project Manager to join our studio. This is a full-time role for a highly motivated individual who brings technical expertise, managerial excellence, and leadership to the table. You’ll work closely with Project Architects and design teams to lead the development of architectural projects and ensure excellence from concept through construction. While there is a broad range of project types that you will be engaged in, this position will have an emphasis on affordable housing in California and nationwide, as well as Civic and Institutional work. This may require both local and out-of-state travel for meetings and job site visits. Additionally, the Project Manager will be part of the studio leadership and is expected to engage in the activities and advancement of the studio, as well as providing support, mentorship and training for junior staff. What You’ll Do Oversee all phases of project development, including planning, contracts, design coordination, budgeting, and construction administration. Manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables to meet client expectations and firm standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards. Participate in firm-wide QAQC Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment. Solve complex design and technical challenges with creativity and precision Represent the studio in client meetings, presentations, and agency reviews Engage in studio culture, leadership, and continuous improvement What You’ll Bring Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) Architectural license preferred but not required 10-12+ years of experience, with at least 3-5 years as a Project Manager on multi-family, commercial, mixed-use and/or hospitality projects Experience in Affordable Housing, both new construction and rehabilitations, is preferred Experience in Civic and Institutional work preferred Experience must also include carrying projects of both large and small scale from design concept through completion Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Sufficient skills with BIM (ArchiCAD preferred), AutoCAD, Miro, and other drafting software. Strong knowledge of code analysis, construction methods, engineering systems, agency processing, construction detailing, and contract administration.
