Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, which allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Importantly, our work-life balance is prioritized, with no evenings or weekends required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Coordinate and implement behavioral health services, ensuring clients receive holistic care that corresponds with their treatment goals.

• Participate as a key member of a multidisciplinary primary care team, effectively communicating with other health care providers and support staff to enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current local, state, and federal mental health regulations to ensure compliance and highest standards in service delivery.
\n
• Provide timely counseling and crisis intervention when necessary, employing evidence-based practices to de-escalate situations and support clients in immediate distress.

• Assist in the referral process for patients requiring more intensive services, including inpatient care and specialized treatment programs, to facilitate continuity of care.

• Conduct screenings for substance abuse and provide necessary counseling, along with referrals to local resources when needed, thereby promoting a continuum of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and their families within school settings. The role necessitates a strong commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by students and their families, particularly within the context of educational environments. You will use culturally competent approaches to foster relationships with clients, ensuring each feels understood, respected, and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in Texas is required.
