Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Lowville, New York, United States. Start date is 08/24/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,101–$2,205 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Nights (3x12-hour shifts) from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., including every other weekend rotation. This temporary travel role is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to laboring, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in the L&D unit
- Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal status; respond to changes and administer medications as ordered
- Assist during labor and delivery, including newborn stabilization and postpartum recovery support
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and ancillary teams; document assessments and care plans
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and unit protocols; provide family education and emotional support

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (or eligibility to practice)
- Obstetrics/L&D experience preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to work nights and participate in a weekend rotation
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a fast-paced obstetric care environment
