SR Functional Consultant - Talent and Performance and Learning - Workday Success Plans

Responsibilities Confidently and consistently provide excellent customer service. Engage customers to quickly understand business requirements. Share broad experience with industry practices. Adapt and succeed independently in challenging situations. Develop and demonstrate system configuration solutions, articulating product capabilities, benefits and risks of design decisions. Support multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects. Share expertise with customers on a variety of Ask‑an‑Expert requests by conducting research to ensure understanding of customer questions and related Workday concepts. Deliver small‑scope consulting in response to customer requests; provide configuration guidance, demonstrations, considerations, tips & tricks. Troubleshoot product configuration to resolve or provide optimal product configuration to meet customer business requirements. Clearly and effectively communicate responses and value to customers. Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services such as Feature Adoption Workshops, Functional Review, Health Check, Collaboration Crews, Accelerator Webinars, Feature Accelerator, and Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews. Qualifications 3+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects, or applicable practitioner deployment experience. 3+ years of experience with Talent & Performance and/or Learning product areas. At least 1 year of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects, or applicable practitioner deployment experience. 5+ years of experience with Talent & Performance and/or Learning product areas. 3+ years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. Ability to travel up to 10%. Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Strong critical‑thinking skills to understand complex, technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision making. Experience working on multiple engagements simultaneously. Experience with global implementations is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver and get results while managing a project plan. Capable of leading and influencing design meetings toward an effective and collaborative outcome. Experience influencing, interacting, and collaborating with senior leaders, internally and externally. Certified or ability to certify in Workday HCM Products and to effectively deploy the solutions. Demonstrates a solid grasp of HR‑related systems and processes. Able to gain a detailed understanding of Workday concepts and new feature releases in Core HCM, areas of expertise and cross‑application features.
