This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, unique environment, creating delicious meals for artists and crew. If you want to step away from the daily grind of a restaurant and immerse yourself in the excitement of live events, this position is perfect for you!**WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO*** Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of diverse, seasonally-inspired dishes for dressing room meals, hospitality riders, and bus stock. Ensure all meals adhere to strict dietary requirements and nutritional standards.* Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute daily menus and maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Foster teamwork and communication among kitchen staff.* Sustainability Practices: Support the implementation of eco-friendly practices, including recycling, composting, and responsible ingredient sourcing. Aim for zero waste through effective preparation techniques.* Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients.* Adaptability: Be prepared to work long hours and handle the fast-paced demands of multiple shows each week during the busy season (late March through October). Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.* Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety standards.
