As the company grows, it's seeking a technically strong accounting leader who can enhance financial processes, ensure compliance, and provide robust insights to support the Director of Finance and broader leadership team. Job Description Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Controller will oversee all core accounting functions and serve as a key strategic partner in guiding the firm's financial performance. This hands on role requires outstanding technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to refine controls within a sophisticated professional services environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations including monthly, quarterly, and annual close Oversee financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and compliance with US GAAP Develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models supporting business planning Manage audit preparation and act as the primary liaison for external auditors Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management processes Oversee billing, trust accounting, collections, and cash management activities Review daily bank activity and monitor cash flow Support tax planning and coordinate with external tax professionals Prepare financial insights for leadership and provide ad‑hoc analysis as needed Mentor and oversee accounting staff, supporting continuous improvement and development.
