Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as a Social Worker in Illinois
• Prior experience in school settings preferred

• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs through individual and group counseling
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student achievement and well-being
• Develop and monitor intervention strategies tailored to students’ unique circumstances
• Connect families with community resources for additional assistance
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights
• Aid in the creation of positive school climates, addressing issues such as bullying, attendance, and emotional health
• Maintain detailed records and clear, professional communication with all stakeholders
