This Physical Therapist position offers variety and professional growth, with duties that include working with a team to serve a caseload of 50 students, traveling between nearby schools, and engaging in both Extended School Year (ESY) and traditional school-year services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in school-based therapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Pre-K interventions and willingness to complete fingerprinting for Pre-K access
• TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) training or certification for Pre-K evaluations is ideal, though not required
• Ability to collaborate with PTAs and teachers to support diverse student needs
• Comfortable traveling between schools (mileage reimbursement provided)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students from Pre-K to high school
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm (35 hours per week) from August through May
• Participate in the ESY session July 8–30 (select positions: ESY Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–12:30pm)
• Travel between schools as assigned, with efforts to maintain proximity within routes
• Support and collaborate closely with the PT/PTA team to ensure effective student care
• Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines for therapy practices
