Dental Assistant FL, Bristol - Liberty Correctional Institution - Bristol, FL 32321 Centurion is proud to be the provider of dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Liberty Correctional Institution located in Bristol, Florida. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Essential Duties: Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory Operating radiographic equipment Administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment Florida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hire Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shift: Days, 7AM-3:30PM EST; Monday-Friday We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
