CNC Machinist PositionMillennium Power Service is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Westfield, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality components in a fast-paced industrial environment.If you enjoy hands-on machining, working with a variety of equipment, and being part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoSet up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machining equipment including:Manual lathes and millsPROTO TRAK lathes and milling machinesBridgeport machinesHaas and Doosan multi-axis machinesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specificationsProgram and edit machining operations using Mastercam and Proto Trak controlsSelect tooling, fixtures, inserts, and materials for efficient machining operationsManufacture precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standardsInspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and depth gaugesTroubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve performance and minimize downtimePerform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environmentCollaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow machinists to improve processes and production efficiencyMaintain accurate production and job recordsWhat We're Looking For5–7+ years of machining experience preferredStrong background in both CNC and manual machiningExperience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC equipmentMastercam programming experience preferredExperience with Haas and Doosan machines is a plusAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and metal propertiesProficient with precision measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsSolid math and geometry skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training or machining certifications are a plusScheduleMonday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOvertime and weekend work available as neededOpportunity for occasional travel to customer sitesPay & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experience and skill levelOvertime and weekend hours paid at premium ratesMedical, dental, and health benefitsShort-term and long-term disability coverageLife insurance and 401(k)Paid holidays and paid time offClean, safety-focused work environmentStable company with opportunities for growth and advancementJoin a team that values precision, craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.
