Director of Operations – Restaurant Operations Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Salary: $105,000–$120,000 + Bonus An established quick-service restaurant organization is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead approximately 8–10 locations throughout the Raleigh market. This leader will oversee performance through General Managers and be responsible for driving sales, guest counts, profitability, operational consistency, and team development across the region. The ideal candidate is a hands-on multi-unit operator with a strong background in high-volume quick-service restaurants. This individual should be comfortable spending significant time in the restaurants, coaching leaders, identifying performance gaps, and implementing action plans that improve both financial results and the guest experience. Responsibilities Lead the performance of approximately 8–10 company-operated restaurants. Coach, develop, and hold General Managers accountable for sales, profitability, staffing, guest satisfaction, and operational execution. Drive profitable same-restaurant sales and guest-count growth throughout the market. Review restaurant-level financial performance and implement action plans to improve results. Ensure consistent execution of operational, human resources, financial, food-safety, and guest-service standards. Identify, develop, and retain high-potential General Managers and Restaurant Managers. Address underperforming locations and provide hands‑on support where needed. Support leadership transitions, restaurant growth, and other market‑level initiatives. Qualifications Proven multi‑unit restaurant leadership experience at the Director of Operations, Area Director, Regional Manager, or District Manager level. Strong background overseeing high-volume quick‑service restaurant operations. Demonstrated success improving sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance across multiple locations. Strong P&L knowledge with the ability to translate financial results into restaurant‑level action plans. Track record of coaching General Managers, developing future leaders, and creating accountability.Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Raleigh market. Must reside within approximately 60–90 minutes of the market. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
