Two contract roles are open for immediate start, extending through January 4th, covering district leaves at the middle and elementary school levels. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience working in a center-based classroom environment preferred
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, IEP implementation, and adapting instruction accordingly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to adapt to changing classroom dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students in center-based Strategies programs to support individualized academic, behavioral, and social development
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning profiles and IEP goals
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies to maximize achievement
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to deliver comprehensive support
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment
• Provide crisis intervention, if necessary, and utilize de-escalation techniques
