Two contract opportunities are open for dedicated Special Education Teachers to step in and continue the work of ongoing Center-based Strategies programs at the middle and elementary school levels. With immediate start dates and assignments through January 4th, these roles offer the chance to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license in Special Education (Minnesota or eligible for reciprocity)
• Experience with Center-based Strategies or comparable special education programs preferred
• Strong ability to differentiate instruction and adapt lessons for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage classrooms with empathy, consistency, and positive behavioral supports
• Flexible, adaptable, and ready to support students across multiple needs and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students within a Center-based Strategies program
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain data, records, and progress monitoring in compliance with IEPs and district policies
• Develop and implement behavior management plans as needed to support positive student outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families to ensure student growth and well-being
