Radiation Therapist in Machesney Park, IL

A healthcare facility in Machesney Park, IL is seeking experienced Radiation Therapists for a contract opportunity in a busy clinic setting. This position involves providing expert radiation therapy to patients as part of a comprehensive cancer treatment program. Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments to approximately 64-68 patients daily using two treatment units.
• Operate Varian Ede/Aria systems for precise treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with oncology teams to develop and implement individualized radiation plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Radiation Therapist certification from ARRT and IEMA is required.
• Proven experience working in mid to large hospital settings.
• Proficiency with Varian Ede/Aria software.
• Ability to multi-task and operate independently in a demanding clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
