Logistics OperatorResponsibilities:Strong customer orientation and strong negotiating skillsStrong background in import operations, global logistics, and Customs Compliance.Coordinate ocean, air and trucking freight with carriers, 3rd party logistics providersManage and support fulfillment & distribution activitiesSOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer requirements as well as ensure operational SOP complianceBuilds relationships with carriers, vendors, & internal team members, and helps resolve any freight problems that may arise.Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvements.Constantly evaluates logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growthRequirements/Qualifications:1+ years of work experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean import) is preferredCandidate with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn logistics operations quickly are encouragedExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsGreat interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate openly and effectivelyWorks well under pressure and has a sense of urgencyStrong work ethicOutlook, Microsoft Office application such as Excel/Power point/WordBachelor's Degree preferredAbility to travel up to 10 %Why Work At BTI?We're committed to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
