Research Coordinator

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app. Duties/Responsibilities Category 1 (40%) Conducting studies in the laboratory, as well as offsite and online. Category 2 (30%) Providing support with general research activities (e.g., data analysis, literature review, writing research manuscripts, etc.). Category 3 (15%) Recruiting, training, and coordinating undergraduate research assistants. Category 4 (15%) Performing various administrative duties (e.g., managing the labs’ IRB protocols, maintaining budgets, submitting reimbursement requests, managing participant recruiting systems, maintaining lab websites, maintaining lab emails). Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, or neuroscience Research experience in psychology Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The ability to work independently Keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Passion and interest for conducting cognitive and/or developmental psychology research Preferred Qualifications > 1 year working or volunteering in a psychology research laboratory Independently led research project (e.g., honors thesis, capstone, summer project, etc.) Experience conducting primary research in cognitive and/or developmental psychology Experience with quantitative research methods Experience with R, Python, Javascript/HTML/CSS, or other programming languages Experience managing a team Other Requirements Regular weekend availability Reliable personal transportation to off-campus research sites (in Seacoast Region, New Hampshire) Compensation Pay Range $18.00-$24.00/Hour The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution providing comprehensive, high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs of distinction.
