Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney (Sophisticated Boutique Firm)

Latitude is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience to join a boutique law firm in Miami. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court and will be eager to work on high-profile cases for a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to participate in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and trial, while working closely with an experienced and collaborative team. The successful candidate should be able to manage assignments with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coral Gables, Florida. Responsibilities Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence at the federal court level Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking depositions Communicate clearly both orally and in writing Requirements 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience at a large firm or sophisticated boutique J.D. from an accredited, preferably first-tier, law school Licensed in Florida Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting Outstanding references Experience in federal court Position Details Type of role: Permanent Schedule: Full-time Location: Coral Gables, FL Compensation Pay: The salary range for this role is $210,000 to $270,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
