Senior Business Analyst

To support a client in the commercial insurance industry, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst - Accounting will serve as a liaison between accounting business users and technology teams, leading requirements gathering and driving process improvements in accounting systems. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between accounting business users, project teams, vendors, and technology stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Lead requirements gathering sessions, document business processes, and analyze accounting operations to identify opportunities for improvement Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience 8+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting accounting, finance, or financial systems initiatives Strong accounting background with experience in general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting processes Hands-on experience leading business analysis activities, including requirements documentation and user story creation Experience with accounting and financial systems such as Blackline, Kyriba, or Guidewire
