Senior Business Analyst

DescriptionKforce has a client in need of a Senior Business Analyst in Princeton, NJ.Responsibilities:* Analyze information from multiple business systems to support operational and product decisions* Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics* Prepare, reconcile, and validate datasets to ensure accurate reporting* Identify trends, data inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement* Investigate reporting issues and recommend practical corrective actions* Establish data quality controls, validation standards, and monitoring procedures* Maintain reference data and business-managed data tables* Partner with business and technical teams to translate needs into effective solutions* Troubleshoot system defects, assess business impact, and support resolution efforts* Document requirements, process flows, data mappings, user stories, and acceptance criteria* Participate in testing, release validation, and production support activities* Evaluate data movement across operational platforms and downstream reporting environments* Promote automation, self-service reporting, and continuous process improvement* Communicate technical findings and project updates to business stakeholdersRequirements* 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role* Experience supporting reporting platforms, operational systems, or data-driven business functions* Property and casualty insurance experience preferred* Knowledge of underwriting, policy administration, claims, or insurance operations is beneficial* Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets* Experience creating reports and visualizations with Power BI or a comparable analytics platform* Advanced Excel skills, including lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis* Experience with data validation, reconciliation, testing, and issue investigation* Familiarity with Agile practices and project management or documentation tools* Understanding of system integrations, data transformations, and application interfaces preferred* Exposure to insurance technology platforms is a plus* Interest in artificial intelligence and emerging analytics capabilities is beneficial* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills* Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teamsJob TypeContractCompensation74 - $82
