White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA is seeking individuals to join our Dining Services Department. Shifts Part Time: Friday 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday 11:15 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.; Monday 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Pay Range/Hour: $21.00 - $22.00 Job Duties Greets residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room. Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system. Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed. Set up, clear and clean dining room ensuring tables are clean and disinfected. Take orders, serve food and beverages. Provide effective and courteous services to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members. Takes note of safety concerns and needed repairs and reports to supervisor. Adheres to HIPAA privacy rules and company policies. Requirements Fast food or restaurant experience preferred Experience working with senior population preferred Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents Available on holidays, evenings and weekends You would display behavior that supports the mission, vision, behaviors and values of HumanGood.
