Consonus Pharmacy is a closed‑door long‑term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring an Admissions Specialist to join our team! Overview This role will ensure our data in our electronic health records on patient information is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is a person who thrives on ensuring accuracy and has proficient data entry skills. As the Admissions Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Complete all manual admissions Navigate multiple electronic health records – ADT integrated admissions Enter and verify all new patient information Update patient changes i.e. rooms, beds, status as needed Evaluate level of care and load short stay dates when applicable Basic general insurance review (E1D, E1 Commercial and Medicaid) Customer Agreement processing Benefits may include: Paid training & career advancement opportunities Generous Paid Time Off that pools vacation, sick & holiday pay in a single bucket for flexible use Medical/Dental/Vision insurance 401K With Employer Match Employee Assistance Program: with free access to counseling & support services Qualifications Experience with MS Office suite Proficient data entry skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Organizational skills to adapt to the needs of the current situation Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines Detail oriented Critical thinking/problem solving skills Must be flexible to work shift requirements including rotating weekends EEO Statement “Be here.
