Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is available in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, with a focus on low risk antepartum, GYN surgeries, and couplet care. The position requires working in a dynamic environment that may include NICU or L&D floating duties.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certifications in BLS and NRN, must meet the facility's fixed notes requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum vaginal or cesarean delivery, tubal ligation, circumcision, GYN surgeries, and specialized procedures such as CPAP/BiPAP, Blood/Blood Products administration, and use of specialized equipment like epidural and PCA pumps
• Additional Information:
  • Must attend all deliveries and be familiar with postpartum, GYN, and low risk antepartum care
  • Clinical procedures include obtaining 12-lead EKG, managing drains, wound vacs, and administering medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
  • Interdisciplinary support available, with a caseload involving adolescents, infants, and adults
  • Intermittent floating to NICU or L&D may be required
  • Must provide two references covering 1 year, with at least 6 months for CNAs, within the last 3 years prior to start date
