The company co-innovates with deep engineering expertise, treating customer success as its own while building tomorrow's digital infrastructure.A Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and securing an organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, operating systems, and enterprise applications.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Server ManagementInstall, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.Perform server upgrades, patching, and hardware maintenance.Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Network AdministrationConfigure and maintain LAN/WAN networks.Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.Monitor network security and traffic.User & Access ManagementCreate, modify, and disable user accounts.Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policies.Maintain role-based access controls and permissions.Support multifactor authentication (MFA) and identity management.Security & ComplianceImplement security policies and best practices.Manage endpoint protection, antivirus, and patch management.Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents.Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Backup & Disaster RecoveryConfigure and monitor backup systems.Perform data recovery and restoration testing.Maintain disaster recovery documentation and procedures.Ensure business continuity plans are current and tested.Cloud AdministrationSupport Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.Manage cloud resources, subscriptions, and licensing.Monitor cloud performance, costs, and security.Technical SupportProvide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated issues.Troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and hardware.Assist with root-cause analysis and incident resolution.Document solutions and maintain knowledge bases.Monitoring & AutomationUtilize monitoring tools to track infrastructure health.Develop scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.Improve operational efficiency through process automation.DocumentationMaintain system architecture diagrams and procedures.Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.Create standard operating procedures (SOPs).Common Skills RequiredWindows Server and Linux administrationActive Directory and Azure ADMicrosoft 365 administrationVMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologiesNetworking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)PowerShell and scriptingBackup and disaster recovery solutionsCybersecurity fundamentalsHyve lab/manufacturing environment includes the support for the production systems, rack-build workstations, test infrastructure, barcode systems, and factory network connectivity.What's in it for youBenefit InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Mental Health Care401K with matchPaid Holidays, Vacation & Sick DaysTuition ReimbursementPerks at WorkLEAP ProgramMyFlexPayWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
