About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of enterprise-wide food safety and quality strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality products, in alignment with the company's growth objectives. This executive-level role involves building and leading a high-performing food safety and quality organization, establishing performance metrics, and governance processes, and serving as the senior authority on food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The role also includes leading crisis management and product incident response efforts to protect consumers and brand reputation. Applicants for the Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in food safety and quality within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide FSQA programs, deep knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, and the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. Strong strategic leadership, risk assessment, crisis management, and change management skills are essential, as is the ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
