About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Program Team Lead for its lead clinical program in hemophilia A. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic vision of the program from the current Phase 1/2 trial through BLA filing. This hands-on role requires a leader who can integrate and lead a cross-functional team, ensuring the program's development strategy and timeline are in line with the target product profile, clinical and regulatory path, and evidence package for approval. The role also involves continuous assessment of the strategy against emerging data, the competitive landscape, and regulatory expectations, as well as leading the team in all aspects of program communication to the executive team and Board. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant life science discipline and at least 15 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in leading cross-functional drug development teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading a program through multiple phases of development and commercialization, including experience with US and international regulatory submissions. Strong program management skills, the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment, and a working knowledge of GCP, GMP, CMC, and ICH guidelines are essential. Experience in hemophilia, gene therapy, gene editing, or other advanced therapy modalities is preferred, as is a background in a publicly-traded, small to mid-sized biotech company. The role demands exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
