Strategic Sourcing Manager

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support procurement initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity based in San Francisco, California. This role will shape sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and help business teams achieve cost, quality, and risk management goals. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to guide complex purchasing activities across cross-functional stakeholders.Responsibilities:• Create category strategies that align sourcing activity with business priorities while driving measurable savings, service improvements, and risk reduction.• Bring together stakeholders from multiple functions to define requirements, evaluate options, and move supplier programs forward effectively.• Produce reporting on spend, savings, supplier results, and key performance indicators to track outcomes and support decision-making.• Deliver clear insight into vendor expenditures and supplier effectiveness for both operational teams and senior leadership.• Lead competitive sourcing events and oversee the supplier evaluation process from market assessment through final recommendation.• Work closely with partners in Legal, Information Security, and governance-related functions to advance agreements through the purchasing lifecycle and secure strong commercial terms.• Serve as the primary procurement advisor for assigned business units, ensuring strategic alignment and responsive support.• Contribute to procurement workflow and purchasing process activities, including coordination related to source-to-pay tools and approvals when needed.
