Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to create effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to active exercises, passive range of motion techniques, muscle re-education, prosthetic training, and functional mobility training.
• Guide patients through individual and group exercise sessions, modifying activities as necessary to maximize their recovery potential.
• Educate patients and their families regarding exercise techniques, rehabilitation goals, and home care strategies to foster independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless continuum of care, sharing important patient feedback and adjustments to treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including massage, stretching, and specialized modalities, to enhance healing and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will have the chance to work with a diverse demographic, ranging from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence. Your role is crucial in designing interventions that not only restore physical functionality but also boost patients' confidence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills that contribute to tailored treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive patient interactions and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
