Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the physical abilities and needs of patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and modality application to aid in recovery.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated time and attention to each case.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs, setting realistic goals tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Minimize reliance on medication by offering non-surgical alternatives and recommendations for improving functionality.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
• Encourage and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation process to inspire optimal recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and enhance treatment efficacy.
• Engage in continuous learning to remain informed on the latest therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Wellness, you will work with a variety of patient demographics, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will assist individuals seeking to regain mobility, enhance strength, and improve their overall physical health. Each patient will benefit from a personalized approach that targets their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Familiarity with EMR software, such as WebPT, to document patient information effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience in developing and implementing exercise programs and treatment modalities.
• Skills in patient evaluation, goal-setting, and progress tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
