Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories, performing targeted assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, explaining evaluation results thoroughly and setting achievable goals for rehabilitation.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the specific needs of each patient, while adapting to their progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment session notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans, to support ongoing care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address complex patient needs and ensure a cohesive approach to rehabilitation.
• Engage in effective time management to meet productivity targets while maintaining an organized schedule, and actively participate in hospital and community marketing efforts.
• Contribute to departmental goals through innovative problem-solving and collaboration, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities, and serve as a mentor to students and peers within the organization.
• Foster a positive patient experience through adaptability and exceptional customer service, actively working to remove barriers to care and improve access for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At our clinic, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from post-operative recovery individuals to those dealing with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain the necessary state license.
• Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Commitment to comply with state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
