CareNow Cardio is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to become an essential part of our rehabilitation team in Tampa, Florida. Our facility is designed to offer specialized care, including but not limited to Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation, and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation. Work Environment

This role is performed onsite within our home care setting, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational and speech therapists. The clinic boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities designed to create an optimal healing environment for our patients. The work schedule is generally Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with possible occasional flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols for a diverse patient population, ensuring that therapeutic goals align with patients' unique needs and abilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, offering modifications as needed to promote physical healing and mobility improvement.
• Educate patients regarding body mechanics and proper exercise techniques, as well as provide instruction on home exercise regimens designed to complement in-clinic therapy.
• Utilize various modalities under supervision, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and cryotherapy, to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, collecting data on mobility metrics, strength improvements, and overall rehabilitation outcomes.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure that all required equipment and supplies are organized and accessible prior to patient sessions.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with your interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care strategies and facilitate coordinated treatment planning.
• Provide the emotional support and encouragement essential for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a supportive environment that fosters motivation and resilience.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards governing patient confidentiality while upholding the highest level of respect for patient rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic conditions, pediatric patients, and older adults facing mobility challenges. Our comprehensive approach allows you to address not only physical rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and the principles of rehabilitative therapy specific to diverse patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered approaches in rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
