Work Environment

The role is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Tampa, Florida, where our multidisciplinary team collaborates to create tailored rehabilitation plans aimed at achieving the best possible patient outcomes. This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday. The facilities are equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment designed to support our holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of patients' physical health, mobility, and functional limitations.
• Direct and oversee the implementation of physical therapy interventions, ensuring alignment with the established plan of care.
• Administer therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and utilize diagnostic tools to monitor patient progress and make recommendations for treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in treatment protocols, ensuring they adhere to best practices and quality standards.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, equipment usage, and home exercise programs to promote independence.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and refine treatment strategies.
• Remain accessible to assist therapy assistants during sessions, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental protocols and practices based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Possession of active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist, in good standing with regulatory boards.
• Current CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy is required, particularly in outpatient or home healthcare settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
