Trudeau Kane, PLLC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax planning, or related private client work. Trudeau Kane is a boutique law firm focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration, taxation, and business planning, built by 2 established, board-certified attorneys with long-standing client relationships and deep roots in the Northeast Florida estate planning and tax community. About The Role You will support high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, families, fiduciaries, and charitable organizations with estate planning, probate and trust administration, tax-related planning, business succession, asset protection, charitable giving, and related private client matters. The strongest candidate will bring sound judgment, strong drafting ability, excellent communication skills, and a sincere interest in serving clients with professionalism, discretion, and care. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related planning matters Draft, revise, and finalize wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related estate planning documents Assist with wealth transfer, asset protection, charitable planning, business succession, and tax-sensitive planning strategies Support probate and trust administration matters, including fiduciary guidance, beneficiary communication, filings, deadlines, and administration strategy Participate in client consultations and help translate complex legal and tax concepts into clear, practical guidance Support planning for business owners, closely held businesses, family entities, high-net-worth individuals, and charitable organizations Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver accurate, responsive, and high-quality client service Represent clients in probate court and related proceedings when necessary Contribute to firm growth through strong client service, professional relationships, and business development efforts Requirements Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or tax planning Strong drafting skills and the ability to explain complex planning concepts clearly, in writing and in person Preferred, Not Required LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning Experience serving high-net-worth individuals, business owners, or closely held businesses Preparation or review of federal estate and gift tax returns Familiarity with business entity formation, charitable giving, or business succession planning Board certification, or progress toward it, in Wills, Trusts and Estates or Tax Law A portable book of business Benefits Work directly with 2 highly credentialed, board-certified attorneys in a sophisticated private client practice Serve a high-net-worth client base with meaningful estate, tax, business, and wealth planning needs Gain exposure to advanced planning strategies in a focused boutique environment Join a newly formed firm with established leadership, existing client relationships, and a clear long-term direction Step into a role with meaningful responsibility, client contact, mentorship, and growth potential Work in-office alongside the firm's founding attorneys in Ponte Vedra Beach No billable hour requirement Compensation And Benefits Base salary of $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience Productivity-based bonus that can be a significant and meaningful portion of total compensation No origination requirement; origination and business development are recognized in compensation 401(k) Health/Dental/Vision for employee Life insurance Paid time off Paid holidays CLE and professional development support Reimbursement for bar dues and/or section memberships #J-18808-Ljbffr
