Project Accounting Associate

Overview The Project Accounting Associate Role will report directly to the VP of Finance and is responsible for the management of the day-to-day book-keeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable functionality. As the role is a front-line interface for our organization with clients and vendors, a strong history of creating positive and productive interactions is required. Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000. Duties and Responsibilities This role is essential in supporting the VP of Finance and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information Play a key role in the budget process and assist management with special projects as needed Provide support to the Account and Project Management team as directed by the VP of Finance Record and reconcile financial information Review and post accounts payables and accounts receivables batches Reconcile bank statements Process monthly journal entries at the direction of the VP of Finance Assist in reviewing general ledger for accuracy prior to month-end close Assist with the production of monthly reporting packages for project / client teams Assist with the budget process Assist management with special projects, when requested Perform other duties as assigned Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as needed Skills and Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in a general accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support role This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and cope with changing priorities Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Self-motivated with a positive attitude Experience with QuickBooks Online, Jira, ConnectWise a + #J-18808-Ljbffr
