Senior Administrative Coordinator

$30.55 - $48.12 per hour

Role Description

This position is responsible for facilitating the development and execution of contracts under the supervision of the Director of Physician Contracting. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, implementing, tracking, and updating medical service contracts for Intermountain Healthcare.
  • Maintaining appropriate records of these activities.
  • Contributing to the oversight and management of physician contracts for the hospitals.
  • Serving as a liaison between the Hospital Division and the Medical Group regarding services agreements.

The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests for current caregivers:

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • New York
  • Pennsylvania
  • Rhode Island
  • Vermont
  • Washington

Monday through Friday 9-5MT. Looking for candidates with strong communication skills to explain complex ideas/processes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution or four years of contracting experience with Intermountain Healthcare.
  • One year of professional work experience in contract development, contract management, or healthcare operations support.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, administrators, finance personnel, corporate personnel, and physicians.
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail in written communication, including grammar, spelling, proofreading, and punctuation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree that includes coursework in accounting, finance, business law, and contract development (preferred).
  • Paralegal training or experience (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate information effectively.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and other office equipment.
  • Ability to see and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods while performing work on a computer or other equipment.
