Procurement Specialist

What You'll Do: Negotiates prices, terms and quality requirements; develops requests for quotes and new supply sources; evaluates market conditions. Guides value analysis to identify cost improvements, develops cost‑saving proposals including make‑versus‑buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. Manages a work queue and secures that purchase orders are issued on time. Ensures close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners), engineering team, supplier quality teams, and operations to provide customer care and early involvement. Manages a portfolio of supplier relationships, negotiates price increase requests, prepares RFQ packs, onboard suppliers, runs bidding processes, and conducts negotiations for medium purchasing volumes. Contributes to implementation and ensures usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to achieve high process efficiency and compliance (compliant Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) process, procurement guidelines, IT systems). Supports Supplier Management processes (qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification); updates supplier evaluation systems to identify and develop the best suppliers, ensuring transparency and high procurement quality. Supports and leads Procurement Business Plan activities. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in SAP. What Sets You Apart Manufacturing environment.
