Guiding Light Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding telehealth team. This full-time remote position requires an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality mental health care and is skilled in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring that they receive personalized, effective support tailored to their unique needs.

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life integration. As an outpatient therapist, you will connect with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, enabling a seamless and interactive therapeutic experience.

• Conduct one-on-one video-based therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric professionals and mental health experts to deliver cohesive care.

• Implement EMR-integrated assessments to monitor client progress and tailor treatment plans accordingly to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and client interactions to facilitate effective, continuous care and compliance with organizational standards.

• Engage in regular supervision and case reviews to discuss treatment strategies and improve therapeutic approaches.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and as such, cultural competency and a commitment to understanding unique client needs are essential in this role. Your ability to relate to and support a wide range of individuals will directly contribute to their healing and progress.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health-related field, which lays the foundation for your clinical expertise.

• Possession of an active LMFT, LCMHC, or LCSW license in Florida, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• At least 2 years of experience in the mental health field, with a preference for candidates who have utilized CBT in their practice.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse array of client populations, showcasing sensitivity and adaptability.

• Willingness and capability to integrate digital tools and technologies into clinical practice, enhancing treatment delivery.

• Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities beyond CBT, which can enhance client engagement and outcomes.
