Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth client assessments to identify mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs, employing a variety of assessment tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals and encompass evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, effectively utilizing therapeutic techniques among diverse populations to foster connection and progress.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring that clients receive integrated, continuous care that addresses all aspects of their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients at our community health clinic come from diverse backgrounds, facing various mental health challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play an instrumental role in guiding clients through their recovery paths, helping them rediscover resilience and build fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (LP) .

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Evidence of specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling and therapy practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be given preference.
