Program Management Lead, Segment Strategy & Process

Role Description

You will own end-to-end program management for the full suite of initiatives driven by the Business Segment Strategy & Process team — from program setup and day-to-day project management through leadership reporting, stakeholder management, business case development, and cross-functional interlocks that ensure successful delivery (e.g., Business Capabilities, Activation).

What You Will Do

• Program Setup & Management: Drive foundational program setup across our initiative portfolio — including project plan and roadmap creation — and manage the team to deliver against key dates, activities, and achievements. Proactively surface and resolve risks and dependencies, identify the business decisions required, and ensure they get made.
• Leadership Reporting: Own the creation and cadence of recurring leadership status reporting across the full team portfolio.
• Stakeholder Management: Drive interlocks with our extended stakeholder network — establishing the cadence and owning the meetings end to end, including agenda and facilitation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure effective interlocks with all functions involved in delivery (e.g., Business Capabilities, Activation). Recommend the cadences that best keep us aligned, and own them from creation through facilitation.
• Business Case Creation: Partner with the Segment Strategy & Process leads to define success metrics for each initiative and build the business cases that justify and measure them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Communication & Influence: You collaborate effectively and build credibility and trust across an extended stakeholder network.
• Program Management Core Skills: You know how to stand up a program from day one — the cadences and collateral required, the foundational steps (stakeholder mapping, scope and phasing definition), and how to build and manage a detailed project plan in Asana.

• AI Proficiency: You harness AI effectively as both a thought partner and an efficiency multiplier — whether that's accelerating status reporting and meeting summaries, pressure-testing a case, or drafting first-pass narratives and presentations. You're always looking for creative new ways to infuse it into how you and the team work.
• Transformational Program Expertise: You've managed a comprehensive transformational program spanning strategy creation, capability delivery, and enablement — and you understand how those components fit together.
• Independent, Creative Problem Solving: The team will rely on you to anticipate and prevent issues, and to creatively solve them when they arise.
• Storytelling Ability: You can craft a narrative and present to all levels of seniority. You have very strong PowerPoint skills and can independently build a compelling presentation.
• Leadership: You take genuine ownership, want to help build the team's strategic direction, and advise on standard methodologies to improve how we operate.
• Cisco Sales Acumen: You bring a baseline understanding of Cisco's business and Sales motions.
