About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the financial and strategic leadership of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including but not limited to, leading the finance and accounting functions, providing financial insights to support business decisions, and maintaining strong financial controls. A key aspect of the role is commodity risk management and hedging, where the CFO will be expected to lead strategies to protect margins and manage market exposure. The successful candidate will also serve as a trusted advisor to the President and executive team, influencing critical business decisions and driving both near-term performance and long-term growth. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in progressive financial leadership, with experience in commodity hedging and risk management. A background in manufacturing, industrial, processing, commodities, agriculture, metals, or related sectors is essential, as is a strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing economics. The role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and experience in managing a high-performing finance team. The CFO will also be involved in global reporting and governance, and must be adept at managing banking relationships, financing activities, and treasury operations.
