About the role The role of the Packaging Operator is to provide the technical andoperationalskills needed to deliver world class results in the key areas of Line Efficiencies, Quality, and Cost while meeting ourhigh standardsof Safety, Customer Service, and Teamwork. Your responsibilities Assist Packaging Tech with all supporting functions withoperatingthe production line including: Housekeeping: Follows all applicable waste, scrapreductionand recycling guidelines. Clear out basic jams on the production line& restartthemachine. Feed production line with material, as necessary. The experience we're looking for High schooldiploma or GED equivalentrequired. Ability tooperateapackagingline and related equipment(i.e.startup, clearing jams, manualoperations,and shutdown). Assist in changeovers, wash outs and preventative maintenance and a bility to useelectronic devicesfor data entry and reporting purposes. Strong communicationskills andproficientoftheEnglishlanguage, both verbal and written. The skills for success Trains newoperators andtemporaryworkersas needed. Works effectively in ateam-basedwork environment. Completeequipmentchangeoversas trained andrequired.
