Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy, provide insight into troubleshooting errors, and maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis on an as-needed basis.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new colleagues or students, and help maintain high-quality laboratory standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment, adhering to both regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
