Locums - General Surgery coverage for North Carolina's Outer Banks

• Clinical Role:

• Coverage needed as follows
  • 10/9/26 7a to 10/12/26 7a
  • 12/23/36 7a to 12/28/26 7a
  • Future dates may also be needed
• Paid orientation required prior to first shift
• 24-hour call only; no clinic duties
• Average number of patients per day is 15
• Weekly OR cases - 8 to 16 on average
• Locum's surgeon does not respond to codes
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• Emergent surgical cases include appendectomies, cholecystectomy, etc.
• EPIC EMR
• Board Certification required; must have post-training experience
• Active NC license and DEA required
