Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: South Carolina
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology and catheterization procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend and weekday requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related setting.
- Current SC RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with cardiac stent placement, electrophysiology lab practices, and catheterizations.
- Radiation badge provided by the agency is required.
