Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed for day shift. The role will involve a 1:1 patient care ratio. Weekend and call requirements are necessary. Call requirements include one weekend per month and one weekday call shift every week. Candidates will not float between service lines. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. EP/Cath experience is mandatory. The hospital is an acute care facility with 304 staffed beds. Daily census includes approximately 20 cases. The unit performs peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures. Special equipment used includes Impella, balloon pump, and Angiojet. All required RTO must be included upon submission. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The hospital prioritizes non-local candidates for travel positions. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. Proper documentation must be completed prior to the start date. All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date. Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start.
