About The Role We're looking for a Senior Designer to join our growing design team at an exciting time. As Booksy evolves to become a design‑led organisation, you'll play a key role in shaping both the products we build and how we build them. You'll work as a solid individual contributor, taking ownership of complex product challenges from discovery through to delivery. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross‑functional partners to ship experiences that balance user needs with business strategy. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and is energised by the opportunity to establish design excellence whilst doing excellent design work. What You’ll Do Discovery and Strategy Lead discovery work to deeply understand user and business problems Synthesise research, data, and insights into clear design opportunities Define and articulate design vision that aligns with product and business strategy Partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps and prioritisation Design and Delivery Own end‑to‑end design for significant features and experiences Create high‑quality designs across the full spectrum - from early concepts to polished, production‑ready work Prototype ideas to test hypotheses and validate solutions quickly Design and run experiments to inform decision‑making and measure impact Work within and contribute to our design system Ship work iteratively, measuring impact and refining based on outcomes Collaborate effectively with engineers throughout implementation Influence and Leadership Advocate for users and design quality in cross‑functional discussions Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at all levels Contribute to the evolution of our design practice, tools, and ways of working Help establish design as a strategic partner across the organisation Share knowledge and raise the bar for design across the team Requirements Experience and Craft Product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end work Exceptional craft skills across interaction, visual, and systems thinking Deep understanding of user‑centred design principles and how to apply them in complex product contexts Experience working within design systems and contributing to their evolution Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance design process and output Track record of shipping successful products in fast‑paced environments Ways of Working Comfortable working in ambiguity and defining your own path forward Proactive and self‑directed - you identify opportunities and take initiative Strong collaboration skills - you work effectively with diverse teams and build productive relationships Excellent communication - you can articulate design thinking clearly to any audience Strategic mindset - you connect design decisions to business outcomes Mindset Passionate about creating meaningful user experiences Excited by the opportunity to help shape team culture and practices Energised by growth environments where things are still being defined Committed to continuous learning and raising your own bar Generous with knowledge and supportive of others' growth Benefits The opportunity to be part of something big - the world's fastest growing beauty marketplace Flexible working hours and opportunity to work remotely within your country Work in a welcoming team which is always ready to help Opportunity to develop in an international environment - we have teams in 6 countries Additional benefits that might differ depending on the location Our Diversity and Inclusion Commitment We work in a highly creative and diverse industry so it goes without saying that we strive to create an inclusive environment for all.
